This set includes Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel in order to make sure that the students have all the progrmas necessary to succeed in their classes. The I Love Sciences educational games would be an excellent learning tool to keep students interested and engaged in learning by making it fun. The Encyclopedia Britannica for Kids is an excellent resource of knowledge for young scientists to use to research about the world. Having an encyclopedia on software is much more efficient and practical than having the physical set of books, since students each have their own way to access it, rather than having to share the books.

It is a cost effective alternative to the Smartboard and much easier to install. Students learn better if they are interested in the material that is being presented and the Mimio Classroom allows a teacher to do just that. The Mimio View document camera is a must for a classroom it works like an overhead but captures both dimensional objects in true color and flat documents. This is great for a science classroom where students can see the parts of a flower without leaving their desk. Mimio Capture Ink Recording System enables teachers with the capability to save whiteboard notes convert them into fonts text and she can send them to students who are absent that day or store them for future reference. Mimio Pad Wireless Tablet allows the teacher to write on the board from anywhere in the room as well as lets the students interact with the white board without leaving their seats. The Epson Powerlite projector is a piece of hardware that the Mimio Interactive system required to display images. The Laptop computers were chosen because they are compact and mobile. The students can move them around the room as they interact in group projects. The computers allow students to surf the web and interact with educational software and learn in a way they like. The LaserJet Printer was purchase with the teacher in mind. If she needs to print out paperwork she does not have to leave the room. This could also be useful to students as well if they are doing a class project that requires them to print material they will have access to a printer.
